On March 3, 2026, law enforcement was conducting speed enforcement in Rogers, Hennepin County, Minnesota when they noticed a dark pickup truck traveling eastbound on Interstate 94. The driver of the truck was later identified as Nicholas Jordan Hustoft, [DOB REDACTED] (Defendant herein). Law enforcement activated their radar on the Defendant’s vehicle and got a reading of 89 mph in a posted 70 mph zone. Law enforcement pulled onto the interstate and followed the Defendant. The Defendant’s vehicle was all over the road, driving between all 3 lanes and made numerous lane changes without using a turn signal.
Law enforcement caught up to Defendant’s truck and activated their emergency lights. The Defendant then accelerated and started pulling away from law enforcement and quickly changed lanes. Law enforcement then also activated their siren. Law enforcement continued to follow the Defendant and the Defendant did not pull over or stop. The Defendant continued driving for a few miles and eventually stopped in a residential driveway.
