On February 03, 2026, at approximately 5:40 PM, law enforcement was dispatched to a residence in the city of St. Cloud, county of Stearns, state of Minnesota, on a report of harassment. Law enforcement arrived and spoke with Victim A, an adult female fully identified in reports. Victim A reported that Jesse Lee Axelson, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, had been previously told that she did not want to have anything to do with him and to stay away from her residence. Victim A reported that the defendant would send her photographs of her residence and ask why she is not home.
Victim A reported that the defendant had sent her approximately fifty text messages. Victim A provided screenshots to law enforcement that showed numerous messages from the defendant. The messages appeared to have been deleted by defendant after sending. Victim A reported that she wanted the defendant trespassed from her residence. Law enforcement located the defendant and served him with a trespass notice preventing him from being on Victim A's property. Later that same night, law enforcement was called out to Victim A's residence again.
Law enforcement arrived and met with Victim A. Victim A showed law enforcement additional text messages from the defendant. In the messages, the defendant sent Victim A a photo of the trespass notice law enforcement had just served on him. The defendant then sends, "Just a warning baby daddy." The defendant then sent multiple booking photos of himself. Victim A reported that she took these messages as a threat. Victim A reported she is concerned that things are going to escalate. Victim A reported that she is afraid the defendant will break into her residence or damage her property.
Victim A reported that she is concerned that the defendant will get violent and that the incidents keep escalating. Approximately ten minutes later, law enforcement was dispatched to Victim A's residence a third time. Victim A reported that after law enforcement left, the defendant came on her property and was banging on her windows. Victim A showed law enforcement a video dated that same night and time-stamped at 9:25 PM, which shows the defendant walking around Victim A's residence and walking up to her window.
The defendant has a prior conviction for gross misdemeanor Domestic Assault on June 28, 2023, in Stearns County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••. The defendant has a prior conviction for gross misdemeanor Violation of a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order on February 05, 2024 in Aitkin County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above named defendant, on or about the 3rd day of February, 2026, in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offense(s) described herein.
