On October 26, 2025, officers were sent to Shadey’s Bar located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County on multiple shots being fired in the parking lot. Officers recovered four 9mm casings and 21 5.7x28 caliber casings from the parking lot. Witnesses told police that one of the shooters was in a bathroom. Officers arrested BRANDON DESHONE JOHNSON [DOB REDACTED] as he exited a bathroom with a FN 5.7 caliber handgun from his waistband. Surveillance showed NR speaking with Johnson and Malik Jamal-Alize Farmer [DOB REDACTED] in the parking lot.
Another man identified by bar patrons as DM exited and confronted Farmer. Farmer shoved DM into a parked motorcycle. Farmer walked backwards into the parking lot. Farmer pulled out a handgun and fired it into the air. Muzzle flashes were visible on the surveillance video. People outside the bar scattered and ran into the bar. Farmer left the parking lot in a black Mercedes. Johnson stood in an area out of camera range during the shooting. Analysis showed that casings recovered from the scene were fired by the handgun recovered from Johnson’s waistband.
