Joseph William Voigt

On April 15, 2025, law enforcement stopped Joseph William Voigt, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, driving near 7th Street North, St. Cloud, Stearns County, Minnesota. Law enforcement was aware Defendant had a warrant for his arrest. Law enforcement located a methamphetamine pipe on Defendant's person. Defendant told law enforcement his vehicle contained methamphetamine and it was in the center console area. Law enforcement recovered methamphetamine from several locations inside Defendant's vehicle as well as on his person.

Specifically, law enforcement collected.49 grams from Defendant's person,.24 grams inside in a silicone container, 2.75 grams in a zip-seal baggie, and.48 grams in the ashtray area. While searching Defendant's vehicle, law enforcement also found several rounds of live firearm ammunition. Law enforcement collected.22 caliber ammunition inside a tupperware container and.45 caliber ammunition jammed inside a BB-gun magazine. Defendant has a prior Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree - Possession conviction from July 25, 2019, contained in Benton County District Court File No. 05-CR-18-1489. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct.
