On January 2, 2026, Brooklyn Center Police officers were dispatched to take a harassment report from Victim. Victim reported that her ex-boyfriend, JACOB OLDMAN WISDOM JOHUNA, Defendant herein, has been harassing her by posting sexually explicit images and videos of her on his social media accounts. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was alerted to the posts by her sister, Witness 1. When Victim [NAME REDACTED], which Defendant had posted publicly on Snapchat, she immediately recognized the videos to be of Victim engaging in sexual acts with Defendant during their relationship.
Victim [NAME REDACTED], Hennepin County. Victim provided the videos to officers who reviewed them and confirmed the content. One video clearly depicted Victim [NAME REDACTED] on Defendant while Victim [NAME REDACTED] on the upper part of her body, exposing her breasts. The second video showed penile-vaginal penetration. That video did not show the female's face, but Victim stated she immediately recognized the two people involved as herself and Defendant. Victim [NAME REDACTED] did not give Defendant permission to post the videos publicly and that she was mortified that the videos would be seen by others and impact her reputation, employment or relationships.
Victim was visibly emotional with officers as she reported what Defendant had done. Witness 1 confronted Defendant about the posts in text messages that were turned over to police. Witness 1 asked Defendant why he would post such things about Victim, [NAME REDACTED], "f*** that b****." Shortly after receiving Victim's report, officers were dispatched to Defendant's residence on a report that he was threatening other residents of his apartment building. Officers have had several recent contacts with Defendant, and the nature of those contacts lead officers to believe Defendant was suffering a mental health crisis.
Defendant was arrested. Defendant is in custody.
