On or about April 14, 2026, at approximately 10:00 P.M., officers from the Columbia Heights Police Department responded to Tasty Pizza in the city of Hilltop, Anoka County, Minnesota on a report of domestic assault. The victim, [NAME REDACTED] in the police reports, stated that she was working as a server while her boyfriend, DALLAS ANTONIO VILLARREAL-GRIFFIN [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant, was also at the restaurant. The victim [NAME REDACTED] was serving a male acquaintance, which upset Defendant.
The victim [NAME REDACTED] called her a “b****” inside the restaurant, after which the two left in Defendant’s car. The victim [NAME REDACTED], the Defendant struck her in the face with an open hand while he was driving. The victim [NAME REDACTED] intoxicated and insisted on bringing the victim to his child’s mother’s home so she could beat the Victim up. The victim reported that the Defendant struck her two more times while driving. The victim [NAME REDACTED] one point she exited the vehicle, realized there were no walking paths, and reentered the vehicle.
Defendant brought the victim [NAME REDACTED] in Minneapolis and left with her phone. The victim got a ride back to her home. The victim reported that the Defendant forced her to call the male customer she had served at Tasty Pizza, and tell him to leave her alone. The Defendant was not satisfied with what she said during the call and struck her in the face again. Officers observed that the Victim’s left eye was black and swollen. The victim reported that the first time the Defendant struck her was on the on-ramp to I-694 westbound, in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota.
Defendant was convicted of gross misdemeanor domestic assault on May 30, 2025. See Hennepin County Court File No. 27-CR-25-655. Defendant was convicted of violating a domestic abuse no-contact order on May 20, 2024. See Hennepin County Court File No. 27-CR-23-12978.
