On July 30, 2025, Minneapolis Police Officers received a report of an incident that occurred on July 28, 2025, at approximately 2:33 A.M., at an apartment building on 21st Ave. S., in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers learned that on that day, two males forced entry into the apartment building’s underground garage, rummaged through vehicles, dismantled a bike rack, and stole two bicycles. Officers obtained surveillance footage which captured the incident and were able to identify one of the males as KATLIBET EDWARD, hereafter Defendant, by comparing surveillance images with Defendant’s prior booking photos.
In total, two bikes were stolen. The cost to repair the damage to the garage and bike rack from the forced entry totaled $1,259.98. Defendant did not have permission to enter the building, take the bikes, or damage the property. At present, Defendant is not in custody.
