On February 22, 2026, at 11:51 P.M., police were dispatched to a residence located in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, based on a report of a domestic assault. When officers arrived, the reporting party (an adult female identified herein as “Victim”), met officers at the door. Victim informed the officers that she was assaulted by her boyfriend, KEITH CORNELL OLIVER [DOB REDACTED]. Victim reported that OLIVER came to the residence and was banging on the door. OLIVER was demanding to be let in otherwise he would kick down the door.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] in because her son was asleep and she didn’t want OLIVER to wake him up. Once he was inside, OLIVER got aggressive with Victim. She told him to leave or she would call the police. OLIVER took her phone, so she tried calling on an iPad, but OLIVER took that, too. OLIVER began to hit Victim [NAME REDACTED]. When Victim asked OLIVER to leave again, he grabbed her by the throat, and Victim [NAME REDACTED]. OLIVER left a short time later and Victim called the police as he did. Victim had a cut on her cheek that was bleeding, and there were also marks on her neck consistent with strangulation.
OLIVER remains out of custody. Due to the serious nature of the offense charged, a warrant complaint is requested so conditions of release can be established.
