On or about October 22, 2025, Crystal Police received a walk-in police report involving a stolen phone and a firearm. The reporter, Victim herein, indicated he met a friend of his cousins who was identified as ADRIAN MONTES-LAZARIN [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, and they planned to go to the gun range on October 20, 2025. On October 20, 2025, Defendant picked up Victim in a black Toyota Tacoma. They went to 36th Avenue Tobacco located at 5101 36th Ave N in Crystal, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Victim stated he then got out to go into the smoke shop by himself.
Once in the smoke shop, he heard tires squeal. He went back out and noticed that Defendant had left him there. His backpack was still in Defendant's truck which contained his phone, An iPhone 14 and a Glock Gen 4 firearm. The serial number was later determined to be BECC889. Defendant did not have permission to take the firearm or phone. Defendant blocked the Victim on Facebook after this happened. The iPhone was valued below $500. Through investigation it is believed that the last known area where Defendant was living was in Arizona in early December 2025. There is no known address to send a summons at this time.
Thus, the State requests a warrant issue for Defendant.
