On December 11, 2025, at 0118 hours, St. Paul police officers responded to 2034 Yorkshire, St. Paul, Ramsey County, on a report of detached garage burglaries in progress. DRP, [DOB REDACTED], said that he was outside having a smoke when he saw a male associated with a white Cadillac Escalade breaking into garages on the property. Officers arrived and encountered a male, later identified as Jayson Joseph Ronald Bailey, [DOB REDACTED], getting into a white Cadillac Escalade, MN PVD336. He ignored officers’ commands and fled in the Cadillac.
A Ramsey County deputy later pursued the vehicle which fled from the deputy. Bailey was charged under separate complaint with Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle in 62CR259243. Investigation revealed that Bailey broke into and entered garage units 20, 21, 22, 23. The locks and latches on units 19 and 24 were damaged without evidence that Bailey had entered those units. There was no evidence of loss of property in [APT REDACTED]. In [APT REDACTED], the owner’s trunk had been popped open and the spare tire compartment was manipulated.
There was evidence that Bailey had gone through the center console as items were out of place and scattered. Bailey removed three tires from the 2024 Subaru Impreza that was parked in [APT REDACTED]. Police found those tires in the Cadillac after the fleeing incident resulting in Bailey’s arrest. Old tire rims were removed from [APT REDACTED]. One of those rims was being used to hold up the Subaru in [APT REDACTED] after the three tires were removed. Bailey has convictions for Burglary 3 (2023), Burglary 3 (2022), Assault 2 (2022), Receiving Stolen Property (2022), Burglary 2 (2020), Theft of Motor Vehicle (2019), Burglary 3 (2019), Theft of Motor Vehicle (2017), Burglary 2 (2017), Theft of Motor Vehicle (2017).
