Your complainant is employed by the Fridley Police Department. In that capacity, complainant has reviewed official police reports and has learned substantially the following: On November 7, 2025, at approximately 6:49 P.M., Officer Tirevold was dispatched to Walmart, [ADDRESS REDACTED] N. E., Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, regarding a theft that just occurred. On arrival, the officer spoke with Layonna Rose, a loss prevention officer, who said she had observed a male, later identified as Fredderick Dewayne Williams, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, selecting multiple items throughout the store, including produce items, lobster, shrimp, a toddler bed, mop kit, and numerous packs of pokemon trading cards.
Defendant pushed his cart full of merchandise past all points of sale without even attempting to pay for any of the merchandise in his cart. Defendant left the store with the merchandise, offered for sale for $714.85, without paying for it. Defendant loaded the merchandise into a grey Dodge Durango, Minnesota license plate [PLATE REDACTED]. Rose verified defendant did not have permission to leave the store with the merchandise without paying for it. The merchandise was not recovered.
