MAHOGANY ESSENCE LOGGINS, [DOB REDACTED], has the following prior convictions within the past five years. 82-CR-19-2720, Theft, felony conviction 3/26/2021 62-CR-24-4409, Theft, felony conviction 10/17/2025 19-HA-CR-24-2119, Theft, gross misdemeanor conviction 1/20/2026 On March 25, 2026, at approximately 2:52 P.M., Staff Prevention at Marshall’s, [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, Roseville, County of Ramsey, notified police of a shoplifter. Staff pointed to a female-later identified as LOGGINS- who was walking south through the parking lot while pushing a rolling suitcase.
Officer Steinberg activated emergency lights and siren, exited his squad vehicle, and told LOGGINS to stop and that she was under arrest. LOGGINS discarded the suitcase and ran south through the parking lot. Officer Steinberg ran after LOGGINS, and continued to yell at her to stop. Officer Steinberg told LOGGINS she would be tased if she did not stop. LOGGINS stopped running and sat on the curb. She was arrested. Loss Prevention Staff Pospisil said LOGGINS was inside Marshalls concealing children’s clothing and placing them in a suitcase that she also stole from the store.
LOGGINS passed all points of sale, did not pay for the merchandise, and left the store with the merchandise. LP Staff Pospisil tried to stop LOGGINS. She dropped the suitcase near Total Wine. The stolen merchandise was returned to LP Staff Pospisil-total value $681.61. After a Miranda advisory, LOGGINS spoke to an officer. LOGGINS said she “just took some stuff…some kids’ stuff….and put it in a suitcase.
