On March 27, 2026, at 12:04 P.M., Deputy Maloney with the Washington County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Washington County Jail regarding a report of an inmate possessing drugs. Upon arrival Deputy Maloney met with a Sergeant who provided a small baggie containing a white, crystal-like substance and a jail incident report. The report stated that CHONG XIONG, [DOB REDACTED], was booked into the Washington County Jail earlier that day. When XIONG was searched by jail staff, they located the baggie in the right coin pocket of his pants.
The substance NIK-tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed.3 grams. XIONG has been released from the Washington County Jail and is no longer in custody.
