MacKendy Louis-Danes

From age 11 or 12 to age 18 or 19, V1 (YOB: 2004) was sexually assaulted by her biological father MACKENDY LOUIS-DANES [DOB REDACTED]. V1 first reported her sexual assault to Ramsey County CPS in November of 2023. V1 reported again on 04/04/2024 to Ramsey County Sheriff’s that she was assaulted continuously from 2015 until 2022 or 2023 between Florida and Minnesota. V1 reports the sexual abuse began with LOUIS-DANES talking to her about sex and escalated to him penetrating her vagina with his penis and digitally while living in Florida and continued when they relocated to Minnesota in 2017. V1 describes moving back and forth between Minnesota and Florida but primarily growing up in Minnesota.

On April 17, 2025, V1disclosed that when they moved to Little Canada, MN when she was in the 7th grade. V1 stated that LOUIS-DANES would take her clothes off and this take his off and force his penis and his fingers into her vagina. LOUIS-DANES did not use a condom until V1 was 16 years old. V1 recalls LOUIS-DANES would ejaculate into a napkin, hand or a trash can and does not believe he would ejaculate in her vagina. V1 stated LOUIS-DANES would also engage in sexual contact by touching her breasts, and made her perform oral sex once.

V1 would always say no, and that she did not want to have sex. V1 stated that the sexual assaults would occur multiple times a month for years. LOUIS-DANES would withhold food, or force V1 to have sex with him in exchange for phones, and a bike, told her not to tell, and stated he would kill her if she did. V1 stated when they first came to MN, they lived in a one-bedroom apartment, but later got a two-bedroom apartment but LOUIS- DANES would make her sleep with him. V1 said “he acted like they were in a relationship.” V1 disclosed to a family friend about the abuse.

One of the family friends, JSM, used to live with them in MN from July 2018 to May 2019. He stated that whenever LOUIS-DANES would come home from work he would have V1 go into the bedroom. V1 stated she told JSM that what LOUIS-DANES would do to her and JSM confronted LOUIS-DANES who admitted to him “it was a huge mistake on my part”. V1 also reported the sexual assaults in a law enforcement agency in Florida, where some of the abuse took place. Authorities in Florida declined charges in that jurisdiction but provided the MN law enforcement agency with the report.

In those reports, LOUIS-DANES admitted to law enforcement that he had sex with V1 on several occasions. He admitted to he had sexual intercourse with V1 in Orlando, Minnesota and Fort Myers.
