Navell Gordon

On 11/03/2025 at approximately 2300 hours, Officers responded to a report of an assault that had occurred on a Metro Transit bus near the intersection of Central Ave and 31st Ave in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Officers arrived and spoke with a known adult male, Victim herein. Victim reported that shortly after he boarded the bus, an individual identified as Navell Gordon, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, began yelling at him. Victim reported that Defendant then approached him, brandished a hammer, and stated “Mother F*****! I’m about to hit you in your skull!” Victim [NAME REDACTED] was fearful and exited the bus.

Officers were able to speak to other passengers that confirmed Victim’s report. Officers then placed Defendant under arrest. During a search of Defendant, Officers located a hammer in his pocket. Defendant is currently in custody.
