Your complainant is employed by the Brooklyn Center Police Department. In that capacity, complainant has reviewed official reports and has learned substantially the following: On 11/4/2025, at approximately 2:50 pm, Sergeant Johnson was conducting an investigation at the Travelodge Hotel located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North in the City of Brooklyn Center, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. While at the hotel, Sergeant Johnson observed a suspect who he knew had previously been trespassed and he recognized as Ja’Quan Dominique Nunn, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein.
Sergeant Johnson was aware that the defendant had been trespassed from Brooklyn Center hotels multiple times and had been arrested the day before for the same offense. When the defendant refused to leave the Travelodge property, Sergeant Johnson placed him under arrest for trespassing. The defendant told Sergeant Johnson that he had misidentified him and the defendant then stated that his name was Donte Dale Ingram, [DOB REDACTED], an actual person. The defendant presented Sergeant Johnson with an identification card for Donte Ingram and insisted that was his true identity.
Sergeant Johnson confirmed that the identification presented did not match the defendant and that the defendant was, in fact, Ja’Quan Dominique Nunn. Notably, the defendant has 26 other pending trespass cases out of the City of Brooklyn Center.
