On January 19, 2026, Deputy Thorstad of the Wright County Sheriff's Office responded to the Wright County Jail in the City of Buffalo, Wright County, Minnesota. Jail staff reported that an inmate, Scott Robert Ordorff [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant, assaulted Corrections Officer Wallisch. Deputy Thorstad spoke with Corrections Officer Wallisch, who reported the following: Corrections Officer Wallisch was assisting a jail nurse in a medical check of Defendant; Defendant took hold of a cup of liquid and threw the liquid into Corrections Officer Wallisch's face; Defendant said the cup contained "p***," and subsequently said he was kidding and the liquid was not urine; Corrections Officer Wallisch and the nurse cleared from the cell; Corrections Officer Wallisch immediately smelled an odor of urine on his person; Defendant was known to mix urine with chocolate milk to get more from corrections staff.
Video footage from the jail showed the following: Defendant urinated into a cup at approximately 8:00 P.M.; At 9:38 P.M., Defendant threw the urine from the cup onto Corrections Officer Wallisch's face. Deputy Thorstad spoke with Defendant after providing a Miranda warning. Defendant claimed he lost his balance due to having low blood sugar and throwing the urine onto Corrections Officer Wallisch was accidental.
