On or about March 2, 2026, Moorhead Police Department Officer Brifki responded to a report of an intoxicated person attempting to enter Anchorage at [ADDRESS REDACTED] S. In Moorhead, located in Clay County, MN. The individual was reported to be under the influence and not allowed to enter the building at that time. Initially, officers were unable to make contact with the individual, who was identified as ADRINE EMMA GHARAKHANIAN [DOB REDACTED] hereinafter the Defendant. The Defendant was reported to have submitted to a breathalyzer test and was found to have a BAC of.125. The Defendant later returned to the facility, and staff directed law enforcement to her room, requesting that she be removed.
The Defendant initially agreed to leave the facility and be picked up by another individual. After leaving, the Defendant again returned to Anchorage and attempted to regain entry. The Defendant was stopped by law enforcement and informed she could not go back in. The Defendant refused to leave and was informed she would be placed under arrest and transported to detox. While being placed under arrest, the Defendant refused to place her hands behind her back and kicked at officers. The Defendant had to be taken to the ground to be placed in handcuffs and continued kicking as this occurred.
After being placed in restraints, the Defendant was positioned with her face in front of Officer Brifki's face. The Defendant was screaming at this time but stopped briefly to spit directly in Officer Brifki's face. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
