Altyn Kalykova

On April 3, 2026, at approximately 6:45 P.M., ALTYN KALYKOVA [DOB REDACTED], DEFENDANT herein, was brought to the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, for an unrelated matter and was being processed when she began to resist and bit VICTIM [NAME REDACTED], a correctional employee and Sheriff’s Deputy who was performing official duties. DEFENDANT inflicted demonstrable bodily harm upon and transferring her saliva (a bodily fluid) onto VICTIM. Multiple additional deputies were required to control DEFENDANT who continued to attempt to bite other correctional employees before finally being subdued.

DEFENDANT is presently in custody.
