On November 13, 2025, at approximately 2:15 P.M., Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Voss was located in the City of Howard Lake, Wright County, Minnesota. Deputy Voss was working a shift with the WCSO Special Investigation Unit monitoring a location while parked in an unmarked squad. Deputy Voss received information that Damon John Rohde, 09 07 89, hereinafter defendant, was driving a 2014 white Jeep Grand Cherokee near his location. Deputy Voss confirmed that defendant has active body-only warrants in District Court files ••-CR-••-•••• and ••-CR-••-••••. Deputy Voss located the Jeep and confirmed the defendant as the driver as the vehicle was leaving the City of Howard Lake, driving eastbound on Highway 12. Deputy Voss was joined by Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Gaikowski, and they monitored the defendant as he entered the City of Montrose and turned southbound on Highway 25. Deputies Voss and Gaikowski both activated the overhead lights on their squads, signaling the defendant to stop.
The defendant proceeded through the intersection of Highway 25 and County Road 30, increasing speed and pulling away from the deputies. The defendant increased speed to well beyond the posted 55 mile per hour limit and the deputies discontinued pursuit. A warrant is respectfully requested for the defendant’s arrest as it is reasonably believed that (1) the defendant poses a threat to public safety, and (2) the defendant will not respond to a Summons to appear.
