On January 1, 2026 shortly after 8:00 P.M., Fergus Falls Police Officers and Otter Tail County Deputies were dispatched to an apartment on East Lincoln Avenue in Fergus Falls. Otter Tail County on a report that two people could be heard fighting inside the residence. Officers arrived and spoke to A. H. Who stated that she and her boyfriend, Andrew Alexander Cross, [DOB REDACTED], the Defendant herein, had been arguing throughout the day. At one point it became physical with Defendant kicking her in the stomach and physically removing her from the apartment.
A. H. Stated she was pregnant and Defendant had kicked her in the abdomen. Officers could also see a scratch on her face and an abrasion on her elbow that she stated were from the physical struggle with Defendant. She further stated that she was trying tell him to leave her apartment and he threw the door open causing her to fall backward and then began wrestling her. Sgt. Lucas Delaney spoke to Defendant who was agitated and upset and stated that he had concerns that A. H. Was unfaithful to him and if the child [NAME REDACTED] was even his.
Defendant made comments about not wanting to say anything else and not trusting the police and that they could just take him to jail. The Defendant's criminal history includes a prior adjudication for assault and third degree criminal sexual conduct within 10 years. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
