That on August 4, 2025, at approximately 1:11AM, Bloomington Police Officer Davern, along with Officer Anderson, were working contractual overtime at Knights of Columbus, in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota, when they were involved in the following damage to property arrest. It should be noted Knights of Columbus (KOC) was functioning in a nightclub atmosphere. While working, employee JR alerted that someone had broken a mirror in the men's bathroom. JR stated that the mirror in the bathroom cost $500 and he would like the suspect prosecuted and issued a trespass.
Security Officer DV was speaking to the suspect in Spanish. Having worked previous events with DV, officers knew that he was able to translate from Spanish to English and they once again requested his assistance. DV informed officers that the suspect, later identified as Anthony Vichez Urrutia, [DOB REDACTED], stated that he had been punched by a male and he was frustrated. Because Anthony was frustrated he punched the mirror in the bathroom. Anthony refused to give his ID/DL stating he did not have one on him and hadn't used one to enter the KOC. DV confirmed with his staff that Anthony entered with one at which point officers took Anthony into custody.
Anthony was searched incident to arrest at which point officers located his consulate ID. Anthony was issued a trespass and citation and released from the scene. Based on the above, your complainant states that on August 4, 2025, within the corporate limits of the City of Bloomington, Hennepin County, State of Minnesota, Anthony De Jesus Vichez Urrutia, then and there being, did violate the above-listed provisions.
