Your complainant is an officer with the Minnetrista Police Department. In that capacity, I have reviewed the police reports of Officer Koch and believe the following facts to be true. On November 24, 2025, at approximately 8:31 A.M., Officer Koch responded to a report of an unconscious male in his vehicle at Mackenthun’s Fine Foods, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in the City of Minnetrista, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officer Koch arrived on scene and observed a vehicle bearing Minnesota license plate number EPV164 parked in the Mackenthun’s parking lot.
Officer Koch observed a male sleeping in the driver’s seat. Officer Koch knocked on the window of the vehicle and made contact with the male. The male identified himself as J. P. P, [DOB REDACTED]. Officer Koch observed that the defendant appeared nervous and was asking unrelated questions. Officer Koch conducted a routine search of J. P. P, [DOB REDACTED], and observed that J. P. P’s driver’s license photo did not match the male’s physical appearance. Officer Koch advised the male that he did not believe that he was J. P. P, and the male stated that his real name was BRANDON RAY PEACH, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, and that J. P. P was his brother.
The defendant stated that he provided his brother’s name as he was aware that there were active warrants for his arrest.
