On March 18, 2024, at approximately 8:45 A.M., officers with the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force, VOTF herein, executed a search warrant at a residence located on the 10 block of 31st Avenue North in the city of St. Cloud, county of Stearns, state of Minnesota. At the residence, officers located D. R. F. (an adult male fully identified in the police reports), B. C. N. (an adult male fully identified in the police reports), and S. M. A. (an adult female fully identified in the police reports). Based on prior surveillance, VOTF officers were aware that BRIAN BRADLEY DAVIS, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, also resided at the residence.
Officers located D. R. F. In the living room of the residence. Next to where D. R. F. Was located, officers found 0.96 grams of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. On the other side of the living room, officers found a small clear plastic bag near a chair. The bag contained a substance they suspected was methamphetamine and weighed 0.56 grams. In an a later interview with law enforcement, B. C. N. Admitted that the substance was methamphetamine and that it was his. Officers searched the northeast bedroom on the main floor of the residence and located 9.72 grams of a substance they suspected, based on their training and experience, was methamphetamine.
Officers also located residency documents in the bedroom for the defendant. On a table in the bedroom, officers located 1.29 grams of substance they suspected was methamphetamine. In total, officers located 11.01 grams of suspected methamphetamine in the defendant's bedroom. Officers searched the east bedroom at the residence and located residency documents for D. R. F. Officers also located a safe and Epsom salts in the room. Officers were aware, based on their training and experience, that Epsom salts are often used to dilute methamphetamine.
Officers looked inside the safe and found scales and a substance that field-tested positive as methamphetamine and weighed 16.36 grams. Officers interviewed D. R. F. Who stated that the defendant was involved in the sale of methamphetamine. D. R. F. Also admitted that he would purchase methamphetamine and that he was aware that individuals were selling methamphetamine from the home. On March 19, 2024, a VOTF officer returned to the residence on 31st Avenue North and located the defendant present.
The defendant admitted that he knew about methamphetamine activity in the home. He also admitted that pounds of methamphetamine would sometimes be stored at the house and that he would take part in breaking down the methamphetamine into smaller amounts. Methamphetamine is a schedule II controlled substance. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or about March 18, 2024, in the city of St. Cloud, county of Stearns, state of Minnesota, committed the offense described herein.
