On March 8, 2026, at approximately 3:38 P.M., police responded to a call regarding a domestic assault. The complainant, CLG, told police that he was at the gas station located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County, when he saw his ex-girlfriend, KEYANA MONIQUE GOODEN – [DOB REDACTED], in the parking lot. CLG reported that GOODEN walked towards him, called him names, then punched him on the left side of his face, which knocked off his glasses and hat. CLG said the injury was on the left side of his face.
Police did not observe any marks or bruises on his face. CLG reported that he was in a romantic relationship with GOODEN until they broke up in January 2026. A witness, MWT, told police that GOODEN approached CLG and began calling him names then punched CLG twice, once on the left side of his face and once on the back of his head. In a follow-up statement, CLG told the investigator that GOODEN approached him and “cussed him out.” As she approached him, CLG said GOODEN slapped him, which caused his hat and glasses to fall off, then began hitting him with a closed fist.
CLG said that as a result of GOODEN’s assault, he fell to the ground. As he got up, CLG reported that GOODEN continued cussing at him and threatened to have the males she was hanging out with assault him. Police recovered video surveillance of the incident, which showed GOODEN verbally engaging with a male and CLG. GOODEN then approached CLG and struck him with her right hand. GOODEN continued yelling while circling CLG and posturing like she was going to hit him again. The parties then moved out of camera view.
GOODEN has the following qualified domestic violence related convictions within the past ten years: Gross misdemeanor Violation of Domestic Abuse No Contact Order in Ramsey County District Court File No. 62-CR-25-6820 on November 13, 2025. CLG was the victim. Misdemeanor Fifth Degree Assault in Ramsey County District Court File No. 62-CR-24-689 on June 5, 2024. CLG was the victim. The case initially contained charges of Second Degree Assault and Threats of Violence.
