On February 10, 2026, at approximately 9:00 A.M., officers responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Plymouth, Hennepin County, Minnesota, where they encountered R. S. R. S. Had a small bloody wound near his left shoulder. He told officers that a woman came over after they agreed to exchange sex for money via Snapchat. R. S. Paid $100 in advance and arranged an Uber to pick up the woman. The woman came over and R. S. Had $700 cash on a table, which he put in his pocket. She told him to give him the money or else she was going to call some people over to rob him.
R. S. Then called 911 and she tried to take the cash while he was on the phone. She then grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the left shoulder area. Subsequent investigation developed Katherine Soumah, hereafter defendant, as a suspect. Defendant was identified from her social media accounts, her escort webpage, and the Snapchat account from the conversation with R. S. A woman matching defendant's description was identified by an independent witness as traveling to R. S.'s address on the day and time in question and R. S. Selected defendant out of a photo line-up.
Telephone numbers linked to defendant were placed in the vicinity of R. S.'s address at the time of the incident. The defendant has a pending DWI case in Hennepin County and presents a public safety risk. The State is seeking a warrant for her arrest.
