KM, a St. Paul, Ramsey County, resident, reported that she lost her backup cell phone on March 22, 2025, in downtown St. Paul. Unauthorized transactions started appearing on her Visa credit card issued through Alliance Bank. She managed to stop some transactions, but three transactions resulted in monetary losses. She had a shopping app, TEMU, on her phone. She believes that the app saved her credit card information. The person who found or took her phone was apparently able to access the app and make the following purchases without her authorization: 03/24/2025, $64.31 03/24/2025, $135.96 03/25/2025, $153.69 Those purchases were mailed to Eward Nelson Landvik, [DOB REDACTED], at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis.
A video of the suspect, in selfie mode, making the purchases came through to her other cellphone from the app. A comparison of the male in that video to the known DVS photo for Landvik is an exact match.
