On November 10, 2025, a Chisago County Deputy Sheriff responded to a residence on the 50500 block of Acacia Lane in the City of Stanchfield, Chisago County Minnesota for a report a shed had been broken into and property taken. Upon arrival, the Deputy spoke with the homeowner R. W. Who stated the theft occurred within the last two weeks. R. W. Stated a 2001 Yamaha Kodiak ATV, valued at $1500, had been stolen. R. W. Further reported a box of hand tools valued at $800 and several other tools valued at approximately $500 had also been stolen from the shed.
On January 14, 2026, Chisago County Sheriff Investigators learned the stolen ATV may be located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Nessel Township, Chisago County Minnesota. Investigators are familiar with this address as multiple search warrants have been executed at this property to recover stolen property. Investigators are aware TRAVIS HENERY KUZNIA [DOB REDACTED], herein Defendant, resides at this property. Investigators know this through frequent contact with Kuznia at this property or contacts where he identifies the Rush Point Drive residence as his home.
On November 19, 2025, a Chisago County Investigator observed the suspected ATV at this property while assistant the Lino Lakes Police Department executing a search warrant at this property. At that time, the Investigator was not aware this particular ATV was stolen, as they were executing a search warrant related to a stolen trailer. On January 15, 2025, Investigators applied for and obtained a search warrant to fly a drone over the property to see if the stolen ATV was present. Investigators observed the stolen ATV in the yard of the property.
Investigators then applied for and obtained an additional search warrant to search the property itself. At approximately 6:00 P.M., Investigators executed the warrant on the property. Investigators located Defendant and a female party at the residence. Chisago County Deputies located and recovered the stolen 2001 Yamaha Kodiak ATV on the property. Deputies also located a stolen utility trailer parked behind an attached garage. The trailer had been stolen from the City of Minneapolis.
