At around 1:00 AM on March 14, 2026, officers were sent to [ADDRESS REDACTED], White Bear Lake, Ramsey County on a 911 call where a woman told dispatch, “Please don’t call back just send emergency services,” and hung up. NH [DOB REDACTED] ran toward officers when they arrived. NH said, “He choked me, and is shit myself, and he choked me out until I fuckin’ stopped breathing.” SAVON LAMONTE BROWN [DOB REDACTED] was behind NH. Officers tried to stop NH, but he retreated back into the residence. NH explained she had been in a relationship with Brown since he got out of jail in September 2025. NH said they spent every day together since his release.
NH said she was showing Brown something on her phone while in Brown’s bedroom when a Snapchat message from another man popped up on her phone. Brown grabbed NH’s phone, and she let him go through it. Brown called the man who sent the message, and the two men exchanged words. Brown strangled NH to the point she lost consciousness. Brown choked NH again, and he said, “Yeah, bitch, I’m gonna kill you, and the basement is gonna be the last thing you see. Give me a reason why I should let the mother of your children live.” Brown repeatedly said, “Bitch —you’re dead.
I’m gonna kill you.” Brown choked NH unconscious again. NH lost control of her bowels during the incident. When NH awoke, Brown was pushing on her chest doing CPR. Brown said, “I’m God! I brought you back from the dead.” Family members convinced Brown to come out of the home and turn himself in to police custody. NH sent police two surveillance videos from the incident. She explained that Brown let her put a camera in his bedroom because he had cheated on her. The video showed Brown on the phone and choking NH against a wall and on a bed.
