On September 20, 2025, Maple Grove Police officers were dispatched to a domestic assault call at a house located on the 11700 block of Red Fox Drive North in Maple Grove, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party, a fully identified female, Victim herein, told officers that her husband, HENRY JAMES KERSHAW [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, made specific statements about painting their garage with her brains and throwing her out of the home by her neck. Victim told officers that Defendant woke up upset from a nap because Victim did not make him breakfast.
While Victim [NAME REDACTED] on a couch with her youngest daughter, Defendant started to make threatening statements to her. Defendant then came over to where Victim was seated and flickered her on the head. Defendant told her that he should throw her out of the home through the upper window of the house by her neck. Defendant also stated that he should paint the inside of the garage with her brains. Victim stated that the statement scared her, and she decided to call the police. Defendant then went to the kitchen and grabbed a frying pan while he continued to make threats in the kitchen while holding the pan.
Victim stated that there were three children present while the threats were being made. Defendant left the house when Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Due to the facts alleged here and the parties’ relationship, the State respectfully requests a warrant to issue.
