On March 7, 2026, at 1725 hours, Roseville police officers learned that Shakeena Takeeman Tracy M Flax, [DOB REDACTED], and Catrice Dominque Cheers, [DOB REDACTED], were inside Old Navy, 2480 Fairview, Roseville, Ramsey County. Both women had reportedly stolen from the store earlier in the day. They avoided apprehension at that time. Officers responded and arrested Flax and Cheers on warrants and for possession of theft tools. At the time of her arrest, Flax attempted to discard a key FOB to a Nissan Rogue.
Officers recovered the FOB and located the vehicle in the parking lot. In plain view officers observed multiple items of suspected stolen property. On March 9, 2026, Officers executed a search warrant on that vehicle and recovered $1,468.52 in merchandise from Old Navy. Loss prevention employees confirmed that Flax and Cheers had stolen that merchandise on March 7, 2026. Video surveillance showed both women working in concert as they quickly concealed the merchandise on their persons under their loose-fitting clothing and exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

Cheers has one prior felony theft conviction and 7 misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor theft convictions in Minnesota. She has a pending charge of Possession of Shoplifting Gear in Ramsey County 62CR261588.
