On 01-01-2026, at approximately 12:29 am, law enforcement was dispatched to a report about domestic abuse at a residence located on the 8400 block of Regent Avenue North, City of Brooklyn Park, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with a male, Victim herein, who was crying uncontrollably. Law enforcement observed dried blood on Victim’s lips and a laceration on his upper lip with a large amount of blood on the top of his lip. Law enforcement also saw blood on Victim’s neck and on his white t-shirt.
Victim told law enforcement that he and BIANCA MONET WARD [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, who was gone when law enforcement arrived, were home celebrating New Year’s Eve. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the bedroom when he said something to the Defendant that she did not like. Victim stated that Defendant left the room and then returned and hit him in the mouth three to four times with a red frying pan. Victim also reported that Victim also poured a pot of boiling water on Victim [NAME REDACTED] on the bed.
Victim stated that Defendant then continued hitting him with the frying pan. At some point, Defendant put both her hands around Victim’s neck, strangled him, so that he could not breath. Victim stated that Defendant also continued hitting him in the head and he lost consciousness. Victim reported that he recalls the incident taking place in the bedroom, then waking up in the entry way of the apartment after he lost consciousness. Upon regaining consciousness, Victim went to a neighbor’s house and called 911. Victim further reported that he sustained a broken tooth after being hit.
Law enforcement observed the Red Frying pan in the bedroom as well as a pot and water on the bed. Victim [NAME REDACTED], and he was transferred to North Memorial Hospital. Defendant has a pending case against her involving two counts of Domestic assault (see Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••). Defendant is identified as Victim’s wife. Law enforcement issued a KOPS alert for Defendant. At approximately 9:59 pm, Law enforcement located Defendant and she was arrested. Defendant remains in custody.
