On or about November 20, 2025, Officer Welbourn was dispatched to a report of a domestic incident at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Woodbury, Washington County, Minnesota. The reporting party, H. A. D., reported that the father of her child had been physical with her and had left the apartment complex in an unknown vehicle. The suspect was identified as FAISAL ABDULLAHI ABDI [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Upon arrival, the Officer spoke to H. A. D. Who stated Defendant came over to her apartment that evening and assisted her with putting their child [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant then took a phone call with a family member who told him to take the child [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant then went into the bedroom and tried to leave the apartment with the child.
H. A. D. Is still breastfeeding the child and did not want Defendant to take the child. Defendant then pushed H. A. D. Out of the way while holding the child and H. A. D. Fell to the floor. The fall caused H. A. D. To push the door into the wall and the Officer observed fresh drywall damage. H. A. D. Then stated Defendant grabbed her by the hair and attempted to drag her on the floor for a few seconds before letting her go. H. A. D. Had visible injuries on her forearms and her left knee. H. A. D. Was unable to provide a description of the vehicle Defendant left in.
She believed he was heading back to stay with his family in Minneapolis but does not know the address. The Officer attempted to make phone contact with Defendant but was unable to contact him. Therefore, a warrant is requested. A review of Defendant's record shows no prior qualifying offenses.
