On January 15, 2026, Minnetonka Police Department officers received a report of a recent theft occurring at a store located on the 13000 block of Ridgedale Drive in Minnetonka, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon meeting with the reporting party, officers learned that in individual known to the store as LESLIE GENE ROBINSON, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant was observed in the store with two other individuals, identified as ROBERTA ROSE HOWARD, hereinafter Co-Defendant 1 and RACHEL HOWARD ROBINSON, hereinafter Co-Defendant 2. On January 11, 2026, Defendant and both Co-Defendants can be observed on store surveillance entering the store and going to the fragrance isle.
All three individuals are observed removing approximately 13 fragrance boxes from the store shelves, thereafter concealing the items on their person or handing the item to Defendant to conceal. With said items concealed on their person, Defendant, Co-Defendant 1, and Co-Defendant 2 are observed exiting the store, passing all points of sale without making any attempt to pay for the concealed items. The total loss to the store is approximately $2,290. Defendant, Co-Defendant 1 and Co-Defendant 2 did not obtain permission to remove the items without paying.
Defendant currently has four open felony theft cases in Hennepin County and several in other counties. The State believes Defendant poses a threat to public safety based on the continued activity. The State respectfully requests this complaint issue via warrant.
