On or about December 20, 2025, at approximately 4:08 P.M., Washington County Sherriff Deputy Schipp was on routine patrol when he observed a silver Toyota bearing MN license plate [PLATE REDACTED] driving southbound on Dellwood Lane, Washington County, Minnesota. When the deputy observed the vehicle, he believed it was exceeding the speed limit and then observed it roll through a stop sign. The deputy then tuned on his lights and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver, later identified as Jesus Andres Pineda Tolvar (defendant) [DOB REDACTED], continued to elude the deputy reaching speeds over 90 miles per hour.
The vehicle was finally stopped with the assist of other law enforcement agencies in downtown Saint Paul. Defendant was taken into custody.
