On November 22, 2025, Minneapolis police responded to unknown trouble at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Call notes stated the caller heard loud noises, a female scream and female saying, “get off of me.” Upon arrival, officers were greeted by a female, herein Victim, who asked why the officers were there. Officers noted Victim [NAME REDACTED] from her face. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was in the apartment, however, a neighbor stated a male should be inside. Officers located Clarence Eugene Pointer, herein DEFENDANT, hiding under a bed.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] was her boyfriend but that he never hurt her to this level of injury. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on her son. Officers spoke with a neighbor who stated Victim [NAME REDACTED] ongoing issues. The neighbor, herein Witness, stated they are in fear for Victim’s life. Witness saw Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the day after an altercation. Witness asked if Victim [NAME REDACTED], Victim responded, “the usual.” Both Witness and the apartment’s security guard stated Victim [NAME REDACTED] in frequent physical altercations that can be heard by others.
The security guard stated another residence saw Victim [NAME REDACTED] from her nose. Your complainant learned of numerous similar circumstances where 911 was called to Victim’s previous apartment. April 28, 2025 On April 28, 2025, Minneapolis police responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, on a domestic abuse call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Victim [NAME REDACTED] was just assaulted. Officers spoke to a resident, Witness 2, who stated DEFENDANT beat Victim and Victim asked them to call 911. Witness 2 stated Victim would not come down because she was afraid that DEFENDANT was still lurking around the building.
Witness 2 saw DEFENDANT push his way into Victim’s apartment, grab Victim [NAME REDACTED] said, “I’m going to beat your ass.” Witness 2 says Victim typically tells her not to call 911 after being assaulted, however, today Victim told Witness 2 to call. June 24, 2025 On June 24, 2025, Minneapolis responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, on a domestic abuse call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Victim. Victim reported that her ex-boyfriend, DEFENDANT, assaulted her on this day. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the apartment but was kicked out due to prior domestic assaults.
However, on this day, DEFENDANT came back to collect his belongings. Victim stated when she let DEFENDANT in, he grabbed her by the neck and attempted to strangle her. DEFENDANT then wrapped his arms around her to keep her from leaving. DEFENDANT eventually left the apartment but continued to return to her hallway and tried to force entry. August 14, 2025 On August 14, 2025, Minneapolis police were dispatched to [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, on a burglary call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Victim [NAME REDACTED] was trying to break into her apartment.
