On January 15, 2026, at approximately 11:30 PM, law enforcement responded to a behavioral health incident on the 100 block of 15th Avenue North in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival, they made contact with Sloan Jade Eloe, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. The defendant reported that her foster brother, C. O. C., an adult male fully identified in the police reports, was "mentally abusing her." In elaborating on her allegations, the defendant claimed that C. O. C. Would not call the police when she asked, and that he would not help her pay for car insurance or call for a rental car.
Police spoke to C. O. C., who disclosed that earlier on January 13, 2026, the defendant was upset about her ex-boyfriend and had wanted C. O. C. To arrange for a rental car. C. O. C. Stated that the defendant then went to her bedroom and rushed out with a box-cutter and held the box-cutter up to his throat, demanding that he either call somebody or pay for a rental car. In her initial statements to police, the defendant stated that she held a "knife" to C. O. C.'s neck. The police arrested the defendant and later obtained a Mirandized statement, in which the defendant confessed to holding a box-cutter to C. O. C.'s throat.
Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above named defendant, on or about January 15, 2026, in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offense described herein.
