On November 5, 2025, Medina Police Officers responded to a damage to property from graffiti report from Medina Entertainment Center, 500 Highway 55, Medina, Hennepin County. Medina Entertainment Center reported that the graffiti tag "PHAEK" had been spray painted on side of their truck parked on the eastside of their building. Medina Entertainment Center surveillance and FLOCK cameras captured the suspect vehicle which was identified as a vehicle owned by KAMERON MATTHEW CARPENTER, Defendant herein.
Officers were personally familiar with the Defendant from prior contacts. Officers recognized the graffiti tag from a prior report on August 11, 2025, at Adam's Pest Control and other tags in the area. Officers located two Instagram accounts with various pictures of the "PHAEK" graffiti tag that was tied to the Defendant. Pictures of the Medina Entertainment incident was posted as a story with the Defendant in the video. One video showed the "PHAEK" graffiti tag on a Vesuvio's Restaurant storage container.
Another showed the tag on a priority one mail sticker. Several pictures were found to be throughout the city of Loretto and Medina including a retaining wall in Loretto, the train Viaduct on County 12 in Medina, and a Billboard owned by Clean Channel Outdoor. On October 21, 2025, Officers stopped the Defendant driving his vehicle that was seen in surveillance, flock, several of the tagging incidents posted in stories and posts on Instagram on highway 55 and county road 19 in Medina. Officers observed in plain view a backpack that was seen in a posted video of a tagging incident, a plastic milk container with several cans of spray paint, and spray paint on the Defendant's hands and driver's seat near the door.
In a post-Miranda statement, the Defendant stated that he is an artist and currently unemployed. He is the owner of the vehicle and the only one who drives it. He stated that he has the Instagram accounts where the graffiti is posted. The Defendant stated that he painted the graffiti tag on the Medina Entertainment truck, Vesuivio's restaurant storage container, the train viaduct, Adam's Pest Control truck, the billboard, and the tags in the city of Loretto. In a search of the vehicle, Officers located colored markers, the backpack the Defendant was seen on surveillance having, a skateboard with a Priority One mail sticker on it with the tag on the sticker, and the spray paint.
