On November 12, 2025, at approximately 3:46 pm, Deputy Emanuel with the Wright County Sheriff’s Department was assigned a fraud case that occurred at [ADDRESS REDACTED], NE, Albertville, Wright County, Minnesota. Deputy Emanuel contacted TDL who stated that her wallet was stolen in Maple Grove at 3:21 pm the day prior which was reported to Maple Grove Police Department. That night, TDL stated her card was used at multiple places in Albertville. The transactions included: Crocs Store ([ADDRESS REDACTED] NE Unit B160, Albertville) at 5:26 pm where one transaction did not go through for $73.11, one transaction did go through for $69.99. Nike Factory Store ([ADDRESS REDACTED] NE unit A010, Albertville) at 5:06 pm for $164.78 Westside Liquor (11095 61st St NE Unit P, Albertville) at 5:15 pm for $86.78. Speedway Albertville (11044 61st St NE, Albertville) at 4:48 pm for $75.20. In totally, there was $399.87 in fraudulent charges.
Deputy Emanuel responded to the businesses to obtain surveillance. A description of the suspect was provided by staff at the Crocs store. The suspect was described as a white female, about 5 foot 5 inches, heavier set with shoulder length red hair and was wearing a long white jacket with a fur lined hood. The same suspect was described by staff at the Nike store and Westside Liquor. Deputy Emanuel was able to obtain the vehicle license information and learned the vehicle was registered to Elizabeth Ann Robinson [DOB REDACTED] hereinafter defendant.
Deputy Emanuel observed the DVS photo and matched defendant to the suspect description provided by staff. Deputy Emanuel went to defendant’s residence and observed the described vehicle in the driveway and also observed the described white jacket inside the residence. Defendant stated she was with a “Michael” who stated it was his card. Defendant claimed to not have looked at the card prior to using it. Defendant stated she does not know “Michael’s” last name or contact information.
