On March 21, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM, Carver County Sheriff’s Deputy Horvath was working to located KAYLEE ANNE PAULSON [DOB REDACTED] who had numerous active warrants for her arrest. Deputy Horvath observed her vehicle at a residence in Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota. Deputy Horvath contacted Witness, an adult female fully identified in police reports, to inquire if she had seen Paulson in the area. At approximately 1:43 PM, Witness reported that Paulson was leaving the residence in her vehicle.
Deputy Horvath followed the vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop after visually confirming that Paulson was the driver. Deputy Horvath followed Paulson with his squad lights on and siren active. Paulson did not stop and instead accelerated rapidly away from Deputy Paulson. After following Paulson for approximately one mile, Deputy Paulson stopped his pursuit in the interests of public safety. Based on her fleeing conduct in this incident and other active warrants, it is unlikely that Paulson will respond to a summons.
Therefore, the State requests a complaint warrant. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
