On August 15, 2025, Officer Salber with the Waite Park Police Department was dispatched to a fraud call at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in the City of Waite Park, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Officer Salber met with VICTIM A, an adult female fully identified in police reports, regarding her credit card being stolen from Crunch Fitness on August 14, 2025, between 8:30 P.M. And 10:00 P.M. VICTIM A was alerted to transactions that occurred at Walgreens and West Side Liquor in Waite Park. VICTIM A reported charges that were unauthorized as follows: $107.95 purchase on August 14, 2025, at Walgreens, Waite Park, MN $49.94 purchase on August 14, 2025, at West Side Liquor, Waite Park, MN Officer Salber spoke with the manager at Walgreens who located two transactions that occurred using VICTIM A's card, one of them was voided.
Officer Salber observed video showing the suspect, wearing a bright red shirt with the Crunch Fitness logo on it. The suspect was a black female with corn row style braids and got into a dark colored Jeep that was parked on the East side of the Walgreens building. Officer Salber then spoke with staff at West Side Liquor and were able to locate the transaction that occurred using VICTIM A's card. The transaction took place at 9:56 P.M. The suspect was wearing the same red Crunch Fitness logoed shirt when reviewing surveillance video.
Officer Salber went to Crunch Fitness and watched video to locate the black female wearing a red shirt with corn row style braids. Officer Salber and staff found video of the suspect entering Crunch Fitness at 9:34 P.M., and was fully identified as Kyra Marie Olive, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. Crunch Fitness staff provided a photo of the defendant and her phone number. Officer Salber called the defendant who admitted to being at Crunch Fitness on the night of August 14, 2025. When confronted with the purchases, the defendant did not want to continue talking to Officer Salber.
Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on the 14th day of August in the City of Waite Park, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
