On December 12, 2025, at 3:00AM officers responded to a call of shots fired at an apartment complex located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N in Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers responded to the area and observed that [APT REDACTED] had a shattered window with a discharged cartridge casing inside the windowsill. Officers made contact with the occupant of the apartment who was later identified as Percy Edward Jackson [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Officers observed multiple bullet holes in the wall and metal doorframe.
The Defendant was removed from the apartment for the investigation. As he exited the apartment he locked the door with a key. He stated he would not let anyone else in his apartment unless he was present. Officers obtained a search warrant for [APT REDACTED] where the Defendant resided as it appeared that the shots came from inside the residence. When asked where the keys to the apartment went, the Defendant stated he did not know where the keys to his apartment went after he locked the door. The Defendant is the sole renter of [APT REDACTED]. Officers searched the residence and located the following: • A bin containing a loaded AR style pistol with an extended magazine and no serial number and a Glock pistol that was registered as stolen out of Brooklyn Park • Suitcase bag containing a second loaded Glock pistol and multiple rounds of various bullets, and a drum magazine. • Duffle bag in the living room closet containing vacuum packed bags of suspected narcotics. • Several pounds of marijuana flower and THC products • Several checks bearing different business names, totaling several thousand dollars The total weight of the marijuana flower is estimated to be over 10 kilograms (22.0462 pounds). There were also approximately 300 THC suckers and several edible THC liquid vials.
All of the marijuana flower and THC products were inventoried and secured. Officers also located approximately 48.5 Pounds of Suspected Fentanyl and heroin mix, approximately 150 grams of Suspected Fentanyl powder, and 13 Edibles. In total officers located the following ammunition: • 101 rounds of.45 ammunition • 114 rounds of 9mm ammunition • 28 rounds of.40 ammunition • 19 rounds of.38 ammunition • 1 round of 10mm ammunition • 1 round of 5.56mm ammunition The Defendant was arrested and searched incident to arrest.
During the search of his person officers located $4081 dollars in multiple different bill sizes. The Defendant is prohibited from possessing firearms based on the following convictions: Third Degree Drug Sale (Convicted September 9, 2025, 27-CR-24-25578) Fifth Degree Drug Possession (Convicted May 3, 2023, 02-CR-23-2307 and 02-CR-22-625) 3 27-CR-26-1871 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/23/2026 Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm (Convicted March 10, 2017, 27-CR-16-11552) The State requests the complaint be issued by warrant as the Defendant is in custody in Sherburne County Jail and is unlikely to appear by summons.
