On December 24, 2025, at 1350 hours, Roseville police officers responded to Dollar Tree, [ADDRESS REDACTED] N, Roseville, Ramsey County, on a report of criminal sexual conduct. V1, a 43-year-old female, reported that she was shopping in the store with her juvenile daughter, when a male came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks with his hand. It was done without her consent. The male fled the store and left in a blue Dodge Caravan, paper temporary plate 04352884. V1 took photos of the suspect vehicle with her phone.
Officers watched store video, which showed a male, later identified as Dawntae Daquan Hudson, [DOB REDACTED], in the store. He did not appear to be shopping. He was wandering throughout the store staring at female shoppers. Hudson approached V1 from behind as she stood in front of a rack of merchandise. He reached down and grabbed V1's buttocks. He then exited the store quickly. Hudson is the registered owner of the suspect vehicle. A comparison of an MRAP photo of Hudson with the offending party in the store yielded a match.
Hudson has a prior felony conviction for Statutory Rape in Madison County, Tennessee, 57CC22021-CR- 771. The conviction date was April 4, 2024. Under Tennessee Code 39-13-506 (2024) Statutory Rape is sexual penetration of a child 13-15 years old when the offender is at least 4 years but less than 10 years older than the victim. This crime conforms with Minn. Stat. 609.342. Officers issued a KOPS alert for Hudson. Officers arrested Hudson on December 26, 2025.
