On or about December 17, 2025, Law Enforcement responded to the HealthPartners Clinic located at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. NW, Coon Rapids, Anoka County, MN on report of a motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival, Law Enforcement spoke with B. D. S., who reported that their motor vehicle was missing from the parking lot. B. D. S. Further reported that they suspected their granddaughter, ALISHA ANNE DIDLING [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had taken the vehicle. B. D. S. And Defendant arrived at the clinic together, and when B. D. S. Came back to the parking lot after an appointment, their vehicle and Defendant were gone.
B. D. S. Had the key to the vehicle and suspected that Defendant had taken a spare key from them previously. B. D. S. Stated that Defendant did not have permission to take or drive their vehicle. Law Enforcement called Defendant who stated that B. D. S. Was lying about the whole incident and she was on her way back to pick B. D. S. Up. Defendant arrived in the parking lot driving B. D. S.’s vehicle. Defendant had a spare key to the vehicle but was unable to explain how they obtained it. After turning over the spare key to the stolen vehicle, Defendant returned to the driver’s seat of the vehicle as she waited for a ride to come pick her up.
Law Enforcement asked Defendant to exit the driver’s seat of the stolen vehicle multiple times so that it could be returned to B. D. S., but Defendant refused to exit. After being allowed to sit in the driver’s seat for approximately 30 minutes, and after multiple commands to exit the vehicle, Defendant continued to refuse and was ultimately physically extracted from the vehicle and placed under arrest.
