On October 9, 2025, Officer Bredehoft of the Rochester Police Department was dispatched to a store in SE Rochester, MN, Olmsted County for a report of a theft. Witness 1 (adult female identified in police reports) reported that on October 8, a female came into the store and had taken $1,087 worth of products. Officer Bredehoft reviewed surveillance and noted that the female in question was wearing a blue Nike shirt with black shorts and and a black purse. She is seen quickly going around the store, grabbing various things and rushing out of the store without paying for any items.
She then gets into a white Malibu car. A photo of the female was sent to law enforcement officers to identify the women. The female in surveillance was identified as WENDY JO RICTER [DOB REDACTED]. Officer Bredehoft reviewed other photos of Ricter and confirmed that it was her in the surveillance taking things. Ricter took the following items: • 1 x Tiffamy and Co rose cold 2.5 oz (fragrance: women's fragrance) - $178.00 • 1 x Valentino Born in Roma Rendez-Vous Ivory EDP (Other: Tester) - $190.00 • 2x Valentino Born in Roma (Fragrance: Women's Fragrance) - $180.00 ea - $360.00 • 1 x Burberry Goddess 3.3 oz (Fragrance: Women's Fragrance) - $181.00 • 1 x Tiffany & Co - "Tiffany" EDP 3 Piece Gift Set (2637244) (Fragrance: Set) - $178.00 • Total Loss - $1087.00 Ricter has been convicted of Felony Theft in ••-CR-••-•••• and 19HA-CR-22-2665.
