On December 8, 2025, officers of the Fridley Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Bavarian Pass NE in the city of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, for a report of a domestic disturbance. The caller indicated that she was on the phone with her friend and heard the friend’s boyfriend beat her. Officers arrived and heard yelling and banging coming from the garage. Officers went to the main door of the residence and made contact with D. M., who stated that her boyfriend had hit her and that he was in the garage.
Officers then made contact with Jonathan Wayne Palodichuk, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Defendant told officers that nothing happened but did not provide any more details. Officers detained Defendant. In a recorded statement, D. M. Indicated that her and Defendant got into an argument and Defendant hit her in the back of the head with a closed fist. D. M. Stated that she called her friend and while on the phone with her friend, Defendant grabbed her hair with his left hand and pulled it. Defendant then used his right fist and punched her in the back of the head, which caused D. M. Pain.
Defendant then took D. M.’s cellphone and went into the garage. When D. M. Followed Defendant, he threw the phone at her. Officers could feel a large bump on D. M.’s head. During a search incident to arrest, officers located a baggie containing a white crystal substance in Defendant’s outer left coat breast pocket. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 12.5 grams.
