On November 1, 2025, law enforcement was contacted regarding a delayed report of a sexual assault being reported by 11-year-old juvenile victim, hereinafter “Victim A.” Victim A reported to his mother that he had been sexually assaulted by ANTHONY JAMES ZIMMERMANN [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, while sleeping over at the Defendant's residence in the City of Ramsey, Anoka County. Victim A reported to his mother that the Defendant had forced Victim A to both touch and “suck” the Defendant's penis.
Victim A also disclosed that the Defendant had anally penetrated him. Victim A disclosed that this happened on more than one occasion. Victim A participated in a forensic interview at the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office. During the interview he was visibly distraught and crying, telling Detective Dorr that he was scared to speak about the incident. Ultimately Victim A disclosed to Detective Dorr that while sleeping over at the Defendant's house, he was in the Defendant's bed and the Defendant removed his clothes, was laying next to him and removed Victim A’s clothes and put his penis in Victim A’s anus.
Victim A indicated that this had occurred on four separate occasions and that it had been occurring since he was eight or nine years old. Victim A also described the Defendant placing Victim A’s penis in his mouth, happening more than one time. Victim A described it happening in the living room of the house, the Defendant's bedroom and in the camper located in the driveway. Victim A also described being told to use his hand on the Defendant's penis to manually stimulate him on multiple occasions.
Victim A told Detective Dorr that the Defendant had told him not to tell anyone about these sexual assaults. Victim A described the Defendant ejaculating onto towels on the bed and one time onto his thigh. Victim A's mother confirmed that Victim A had slept over at the Defendant's residence approximately five to ten times in the past two years.
