On or about September 2, 2025, Crystal Police officers responded to a residence in the 4700 block of Yates Ave N in Crystal, in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party, a known adult female, Victim herein, reported that her boyfriend of 3 years, identified as ALIEON ALONTAY WASHINGTON [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had come in through a window of her residence and taken her belongings. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had assaulted her the night prior on September 1, 2025. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on September 1, 2025, Defendant shoved her, punched her legs, then used his hand to choke her.
Once she was on the ground, he then used his forearm across her neck to choke her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] could not breathe for approximately five seconds. Victim told officers that her throat was sore from the incident. Defendant then kicked Victim [NAME REDACTED], causing her to have a busted lip. Victim [NAME REDACTED] from him and stayed at another location that night. Defendant sent messages to Victim the evening of September 1, 2025, threatening to take her belongings from her house. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on 09/02/2025 and observed her bedroom window to be open at her residence in Crystal and her property to be missing.
Victim did not leave the window open. A Ring camera of a neighbor showed a vehicle that matches the general description of Defendant's vehicle leaving the area at approximately 11:38 pm on September 1, 2025. Defendant messaged Victim about returning Victim’s stuff before Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been taken. Officers observed visible scratches and marks on Victim’s neck and that Victim’s lip was injured. Officers took photographs of Victim’s injuries. Defendant was not located on scene and is out of custody.
Defendant's behavior has been escalating and increasing in violence toward the Victim. Due to serious safety concerns for the Victim [NAME REDACTED], the State requests this Complaint issue as a warrant.
