On December 15, 2025, law enforcement responded to a call for domestic abuse in progress at an address located on the 900 block of 21 Ave S in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Call remarks identified the assailant as ANTONIO KARVELL LEE Jr., Defendant herein. The 911 caller, Victim 1, indicated that she had been assaulted by Defendant and that her child [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant was not on scene at that time. Victim 1 called back a short while later, stating that Defendant returned and was attempting to break her car window and that he put his hands on Victim 1's mother, Victim 2. On arrival, law enforcement met with Victim 1 and Victim 2. Victim 1 reported that she and Defendant had been in a relationship about 8 years prior, and share a child [NAME REDACTED]. Victim 1 reported that Defendant had shown up to her home unannounced and was let in by her children.
Victim 1 reported that she and Victim 2 allowed him to stay and offered him a plate of food. A verbal altercation ensued and Defendant threw the plate of food at Victim 1's face, striking her and her child [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant then proceeded to get in Victim 1's face and yell at her. Victim 2 tried to intervene, and Defendant pushed Victim 2 to the ground. Victim 2 sustained a cut to her lip that was documented. Defendant then left the home and went to the gas station nearby. Defendant was located nearby and arrested.
