At around 4:00 AM on January 15, 2026, officers were sent to the apartment building at [ADDRESS REDACTED] East, St. Paul, Ramsey County on a domestic assault. Officers spoke to PEJ [DOB REDACTED] who was bleeding from multiple cuts to his face and head. PEJ’s left eye also appeared to be swollen. PEJ told officers his ex-girlfriend, MARESHA MONIQUE DONALD [DOB REDACTED], had assaulted him. PEJ explained he said something to her that caused her to snap. Donald jumped on PEJ and repeatedly hit his head with a lamp.
The light bulb in the lamp broke causing the injuries to PEJ’s face and head. PEJ said Donald has a history of attacking him, and she often just “freaks out.” PEJ told Donald she needed to stop, and she eventually quit hitting him and left the apartment on foot. Donald told PEJ she was going to send people to his apartment to kick his door in. PEJ told police Donald’s abuse has to stop and they need to quit letting Donald out of jail. Donald called PEJ when officers were at his apartment. Donald said she could not get in touch with her grandma for a ride.
PEJ suggested Donald return to the apartment. Officers arrested Donald when she knocked on PEJ’s apartment door. Donald has 2 prior qualified domestic violence-related offense convictions within the past 10 years: On November 20, 2024, Donald was sentenced on a DANCO violation in Washington County District Court file ••-CR-••-••••. PEJ was the victim [NAME REDACTED]. On June 17, 2024, Donald was sentenced on a DANCO violation in Ramsey County District Court file 62- CR-24-1422. PEJ was the victim [NAME REDACTED].
